Check out our 2025 recap! Image support is now available to everyone. Characters and worldbuilding elements can have both portrait and landscape images assigned. Improved editor stability and overall reliability. Characters can now be organized into folders, with filters available for colors and tags. Fixed an issue where common phrases and magic schools were not being saved correctly. Scene synchronization has been fixed and now works as expected. The project import screen has been redesigned. Scrivener projects can now be imported by folder or by file. A first version of NovelWriter import has been added. Please note that both importers are still a work in progress and may contain bugs. Fixed major issues on Android where the menu was not showing in the file tree. Fixed the character date picker. It is now consistent across all platforms and closes correctly on GNOME systems.
